We partner with secondary schools to deliver practical, project-based learning experiences that prepare students for future careers, entrepreneurship and real-world problem solving.
Why Future Skills Matter
The Future Skills & Agritech Innovation Programme is a practical school-based programme designed to inspire and equip a generation of future-ready innovators by integrating digital technologies, emerging technologies, innovation, and entrepreneurship into secondary education through agriculture as a real-world learning context.
At the heart of our programme is a simple belief: Digital Skills become meaningful when students apply them to authentic real-world challenges. Through our structured school-based programme, trained facilitators guide students in using agriculture as a real-world learning context to develop future-ready skills in digital technologies, emerging technologies, innovation, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving through hands-on, project-based learning.
The Digital Agritech Innovation Lab (DAIL) Pilot Programme marked the first pilot implementation of the Future Skills & Agritech Innovation Programme.
The pilot was successfully delivered at Crystal Model School, Ejigbo, Lagos State, Nigeria, with a cohort of 12 Senior Secondary One (SS1) students.
The programme incorporated baseline and endline assessments, continuous practical observations, hands-on project work, and a final Demo Day Showcase to evaluate student learning and overall programme effectiveness. The findings provided valuable evidence to refine and validate the curriculum, teaching methodology, hands-on learning model, and student learning outcomes ahead of wider implementation.
Founding Pilot School: Crystal Model School, Ejigbo, Lagos State, Nigeria
Participants: 12 SS1 Students
Duration: May – July 2026
Delivery: 10 Guided Learning Sessions
Programme Themes:
Digital Skills & Data Literacy
Emerging Technologies (AI, Computer Vision, Drone Technology, GIS, Robotics & Blockchain)
Smart Agriculture, IoT & Automation
Innovation, Design Thinking & Entrepreneurship
Solving Nigerian and African Agricultural Challenges Through Digital Innovation
Capstone Project: Arduino-Based Smart Irrigation System Prototype
Final Showcase: Demo Day presentations before parents, teachers, and school leadership
The pilot enabled students to apply digital technologies to solve a real-world agricultural challenge through project-based learning while providing valuable insights that are now shaping the refinement and expansion of the Future Skills & Agritech Innovation Programme for implementation in additional secondary schools.
Why Agritech?
A Short Documentary on AgriTech and Our Pilot Program
We are building a scalable education ecosystem that prepares future-ready innovators while creating opportunities for graduates from tertiary institutions to become trained programme facilitators.
Through partnerships with schools, educators, and technology platforms, we are developing a model that can be adopted across Nigeria and, in the future, expanded to schools across Africa.
Our long-term vision is to equip tens of thousands of students with practical digital, innovation, entrepreneurial, and emerging technology skills while inspiring a new generation of problem-solvers capable of addressing authentic community and regional challenges.
Hands-on learning aligned with emerging technologies.
Students learn by building and creating.
Agriculture becomes the context for solving meaningful problems.
Designed for implementation across secondary schools.
